The Congo Nile Trail is a trail along Lake Kivu that extends from Rubavu, continues through Rutsiro via the Karongi, Nyamasheke districts and ends at Rusizi District.

Cycle from Gisenyi to Kamembe over four days with a guide. from the first part to Kibuye city the route is dirty road, spend your first night at Kinunu before cycling onwards to Kibuye city on the day 2, start cycling on the tarmac road from Kibuye to Kibogora hospital village, stopping overnight at Kibogora guest house for the last day cycling cross by Nyungwe National Park take you as far as the town of Kamembe town center.
